1. Kunchikal Falls:

Waterfall in India located in the Nidagodu village near Masthikatte total height of the falls is 183 meters (600 feet).

Kunchikal falls is formed by the Varahi river.

Location: Nidagodu village, near Masthikatte, Shimoga district, Karnataka.

The nearest Airport is at Mangalore, situated 138 km (86 mi) from Kunchikal Falls.

Kunchikal Falls Kunchikal Falls lies at a distance of 49 kilometers from Thirthahalli which comes under Hosanagar Taluk.

2.Pykara Falls:

Pykara Falls is formed by the Pykara River on downstream of the Pykara Dam. The falls drops down into two sections with a height of 55 m and 61 m through multiple layers on the rocky bed providing a unique beauty to the stream. The waterfall amidst the dense forest is a treat to watch.

Location: Ooty, Tamil Nadu

They are about 30 minutes drive from Ooty. Off the highway to Mysore. They are about 1 km from the highway. You can walk it easily. Even battery operated cars are available from highway to the falls. 10 seaters. Rs 20 each passenger one way.

The best time to see the falls is in July
